Bruce Waller
Bruce L. Waller, a native of Richmond, VA, is an energetic community leader with a heart for cultivating & developing young minds and prompting diversity as a whole. In Asheville, he's worked with various schools and non-profits to inspire youth and young adults by bridging the gaps between cultures through community outreach and events.
Bruce has served as a member of the YMI's Emerging Leader's program and with the MLK Association of Asheville/Buncombe county, regional board member of the American Red Cross, an active member of Chosen Asheville and Co-Chair of Rosa Walker Advancement Initiative.
His focus is to serve the community with vigor and be an example of relevance and responsibility. Bruce also served his country as an Airborne Parachute Rigger under the Army Reserves, becoming a well-developed leader and role model for young men. He is a product of good mentoring and coaching along the way. He now works for UnitedWay Asheville Buncombe County as a Community School Coordinator at Asheville Middle School, he continues to expand his endeavors to help better serve humanity, by giving strategy to build and empower.
